Joanna comes from a large family of seven children. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of New Orleans. Away from the office, Joanna and her husband Kyle are avid football fans and enjoy their season tickets to the Saints games. Her weekends are spent making memories with their daughter and baking for family and friends. The only place she enjoys traveling to more than once is the beach where she can sit with her toes in the sand all day long.
Lori Poe began her journey with the firm in 2014 after having studied under Chuck’s leadership in their local Bible Study class. Originally raised in Illinois, Lori is a proud Louisiana transplant who enjoys the WhoDat culture and Southern food. She graduated Cum Laude with BA in Communications from Blackburn College which is one of only eight federally recognized work colleges in the United States.

So when Jessica is not serving our clients, she is likely doting (okay, maybe spoiling a little bit but who can blame her) over her two wonderful grandchildren Chloe and Brady.
Megan joined the TruWealth team in 2017 to assist with serving our clients by analyzing financial plans and implementing our clients’ priorities. She is an Investment Advisor representative (IAR).

Don’t let her unpretentious demeanor fool you. She has a competitive, athletic drive. During her college years, Monique played both collegiate volleyball and softball. A highlight in her career was hitting a game-winning home run in the top of the ninth inning in the 2002 Women’s College World Series which helped the Florida State Seminoles stun the then #1 ranked UCLA Bruins. Out of the office, Monique enjoys walking the family dogs Astro and Pebbles and celebrating a slightly less competitive life with her husband Scott.
Rebecca Murray joined the TruWealth team in 2021 following a successful career managing medical clinics across the United States. Growing up in a military family that moved frequently encouraged Rebecca to pursue authentic relationships and to cherish quality time together.

Chat with Jim about investments, retirement planning, charitable giving, estate planning strategies, or the latest and greatest for the boys in blue. Jim and his awesome, kind, beautiful and extremely forgiving wife Sheila are often accompanied by their two quadruped girls, Madison and Millie.

Likely the first voice you’ll hear when calling our office, Rosa “Rose” Simmons joined the practice in 2015 following a successful 25 year career in the medical field.
Our bilingual administrative specialist is passionate about sports cars, road trips, learning new things, dining out, and scenic motorcycle rides with her hubby Robin. They celebrate life together with their growing family of children and grandchildren.
One of Rose’s joys about working at TruWealth Advisors is the unique opportunity of working with two of her boys. Her greatest challenge is remembering to refer to our callers as clients and not patients as well as file prepping for client meetings instead of doctor appointments!
Rob joined the practice in 2016 to work alongside our advisors in implementing client priorities. He is often the first stop for clients who have questions about digital services. As technology evolves, Rob has ensured that TruWealth continues to deliver a cutting-edge online experience to all our clients.
